YWCA of Calgary

I AM HOPE

Our mission is to intervene, empower, and lead when and where women need us most. Find out more about programs and services at the YWCA.

OUR CLIENTS NEED YOUR SUPPORT

Every day we work with vulnerable women and their families to help heal from trauma, build new skills and create healthy relationships. We need donors and volunteers to help us achieve our mission.

After escaping an abusive relationship, I promised myself I would make every effort to ensure my children had a better life. This past year has been full of change and I’ve learned more than I ever thought I could.

WELCOME TO THE YWCA

The YWCA of Calgary is dedicated to breaking cycles of family violence, homelessness, and poverty. When and where she needs us most, we provide emergency shelter, housing, counselling and support. Share in our mission by helping to foster healthy women, healthy families, and thriving communities.

Everyone here has been so helpful with figuring out my next steps, especially at a time when I couldn’t think straight.
