YWCA offers a range of counselling services designed to address the core issues and circumstances related to family violence. Counselling is a tool to help provide comfort, healing, and positive parenting direction for our clients. YWCA offers counselling for women, children, and men, in group and individual settings.
Group counselling services help our clients better cope with family violence in a community of other affected individuals.
Our parenting groups services provide counselling related to family violence and high conflict custody situations.
The YWCA Visitation Services helps children and families in situations where violence has divided the parents
Individual counselling is available for vulnerable women who have experienced violence or for men who have been abusive to their partner. We also offer counselling to men coping with substance abuse.
