We are delighted to welcome RBC as a Community Partner and announce a new signature event as the result of this partnership. The event will take place on April 17, 2008 at Chinook Centre. Beginning in January participants will solicit donations to pay the rent for a room in the 94 bed YWCA Transitional Housing Facility.

Cost of providing a single room for a day is approximately $100, or $36,000 for a year. Participants raising at least $1000.00 will be allowed to “check in” to a mock facility and receive special recognition. The day of the event will feature a telethon where members of the public can call in and make a contribution.
