The Clients
Overview

Clients of the YWCA come from all races, ages, socio-economic classes and educational backgrounds. They are women, typically unemployed or underemployed, who have experienced a number challenges in their lives – ranging from domestic violence, sexual abuse or exploitation, addictions, mental and physical health issues – to a lack of opportunities for education due to poverty or homelessness.
